夏の終わりとバルセロナ展

8月もお盆を過ぎ、ほんのり朝晩に過ごしやすい涼しさを感じられるこの時期になると、
「夏休みが終わるなあ」と、学生でもないのに何故か毎年思ってしまいます。

今年は引っ越しを良いきっかけに冷蔵庫を小さいものに買い替えたので、大きなスイカは買わなかったなあと、もう既にスイカよりも秋の味覚のリンゴや梨の気分になっている自分に気がつきながら思い返しておりました。

必要のないものは思いきって手放してみようということに少しずつ取組んできて、冷蔵庫もその一環だったわけですが、小さい冷蔵庫にしてみて本当に良かった。無駄な買い溜めを予め防ぐことができますし、その時その時で本当に必要なものを本当に必要な分量だけ買うという行動を、改めて見直すことができました。

さてそんな夏の終わりに、こちらももうすぐ終わりになる展示ですが
私が音声ガイドを担当させていただいた美術展の姫路会場も残すところ約1週間となりました。

カタルーニャの素晴らしい芸術家たちの作品を日本で堪能することができる、なかなか無いチャンスです。私自身、収録前にカタルーニャとその芸術について調べながら、とてもワクワクさせられました。ぜひ音声ガイドも併せて、ごゆっくりお楽しみください。

In the end of summer, I can feel comfortable wind at night or early morning. August is ending. We moved our house in this early summer. When this moving, we changed some belongings like book shelf or a big refrigerator. We bought a new smaller refrigerator at the secondhand shop. It’s a good choice for us. We realized that we did not need the big one. Although we couldn’t buy big watermelon cooling in our refrigerator, it’s not big problem for us.
We tried not to hold many things in our house paying attention what should we buy or not. Owing to this thought, I could find some good farmer’s little vegetable stores nearby our new house.

Every August, I remember about summer vacations when I was a child. Now I’m a middle age, but I think “Summer vacation is ending” on last week of August. Many children might be do their assignment in bulk for their whole month, of course I did that in the same situation...it’s too hard...

By the way on this summer, my voice as Audio Guide for the art exhibition is running in Himeji City Museum of Art.
About Barcelona and Catalunya’s great artists and their history were shown in this exhibition. When I learned about these works before I started recording for this show, I was excited about many wonderful works.
